The Senior Cat Sanctuary began in January of 2017 when Cindy was contacted about taking in 3 unaltered senior Ragdoll cats who had been abandoned.
The cats that we help are senior and geriatric in age (15 and older) and are often from local animal shelters. Through no fault of their own, they find themselves in unfortunate situations facing abandonment or euthansia and often have medical issues which need attention.
Offering sanctuary care to senior cats allows us to care for ones who are often overlooked and rarely adopted. We currently have 15 cats in our Sanctuary and the monthly cost to care for them is at least $2,500 a month!
