About Dandelion

Dandelion is a graceful and charming 15 year old Calico at Ferrell Hollow Farm Senior Horse & Cat Sanctuary. This lovely lady came to us through an owner surrender, and from the moment she arrived, she has warmed our hearts with her gentle presence. Her soft gaze and poised demeanor make her an immediate favorite among visitors and caregivers alike.

True to her name, Dandelion has a delicate yet resilient spirit. She enjoys quiet moments basking in the sunlight, observing the world with an almost regal composure. Her charming personality shines through in subtle ways—whether it’s a slow, contented blink to show her trust, or the way she curls neatly beside you, making you feel like the most important person in her world.

At the sanctuary, Dandelion lives free from the pressures of finding a new home, as we do not place our animals for adoption. Instead, she will spend the rest of her life in the safety and comfort of our care, surrounded by love, warmth, and a community that cherishes her for exactly who she is. Dandelion reminds us daily of the beauty found in second chances and the quiet strength of a soul who knows she is safe.
