About Isaac

Meet Isaac: A Blind Gentle Giant at Ferrell Hollow Farm

We are delighted to introduce Isaac, a charming 22 year old Percheron gelding who has found solace and safety at Ferrell Hollow Farm Senior Horse Sanctuary. Rescued from a Craigslist ad, Isaac’s journey to our sanctuary has been one of transformation and renewal. His past may have been uncertain, but his future is bright, filled with love, care, and companionship.

Isaac is a shy and gentle spirit, who often takes his time to warm up to new friends. His reserved demeanor may lead you to think he’s a bit aloof, but those who take the time to connect with him soon discover the depth of his personality. Once comfortable, Isaac reveals a heartwarming disposition that speaks volumes about his character. Our dedicated team has been working patiently with him, helping him to navigate his new world with love and care. Each small step he takes towards openness is a testament to his strength and the power of compassion.

In his new sanctuary home, Isaac thrives in a nurturing environment where he can express his true self. He enjoys the simple pleasures of life—grazing in the pasture, quiet moments basking in the sun, and, of course, the occasional treats his caretakers reward him with. With a little patience and kindness, visitors can earn his trust and witness moments of joy as he explores his surroundings with a childlike curiosity.

At Ferrell Hollow Farm, we understand the importance of providing a serene and safe space for Isaac to flourish. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to ensure he receives the attentive care he needs to build confidence and feel at home. We believe every horse deserves a second chance, and Isaac is a beautiful reminder of the rewards that come with compassion.
