About Minnow

Meet Minnow: A Shy Spirit Thriving in Sanctuary Care

Minnow is a gentle 19 year old soul who found her way to Ferrell Hollow Farm Senior Horse & Cat Sanctuary after being surrendered by her previous owner. This sweet female cat embodies the spirit of resilience. Though she may be shy, her heart is filled with a quiet strength that captivates everyone who takes the time to understand her.

Arriving at our sanctuary, Minnow was initially apprehensive in her new surroundings, seeking solace in her cozy cave. It is evident that she has experienced challenges in her past, but we are committed to providing her with the love, care, and patience she deserves. With time, she has begun to reveal her true self—a cat that thrives in the calm and serene environment of our sanctuary.

Minnow enjoys the simple pleasures of life. Whether she is lounging by a sunny window or softly purring while curled up in a warm blanket, she exudes a calm presence that can bring comfort to others. Our dedicated staff members have been working diligently to help her build confidence, offering her gentle socialization and allowing her to explore her surroundings at her own pace.

While Minnow may not be the first to approach, we believe that, given time and understanding, she has the potential to form deep connections with those who respect her boundaries. She serves as a reminder of the beauty in patience and the joys of quiet companionship.

At Ferrell Hollow Farm, we do not adopt out our beloved rescues; instead, we provide them with a safe haven for the remainder of their lives. Here, Minnow is free to grow, thrive, and experience the love she deserves in a stable environment. We invite you to support our mission and help us continue to care for Minnow and animals like her, ensuring they receive the warmth and shelter they need. Your contributions make a difference in their lives, allowing us to provide them with the sanctuary they can call home.
