Our Mission

Ferrell Hollow Farm Senior Horse & Cat Sanctuary is a 501c3 Non Profit Organization, which allows for tax exempt donations.  Our mission is to advocate and care for special needs senior horses and senior cats in need of a sanctuary setting, that are not afforded adequate care and would be considered at risk of neglect or abuse, if left in their current situation.

Spirit

Sponsorship Levels

Spirit is a 24 year old Percheron who arrived 10-26-18. He spent his entire life as a carriage horse with a carriage company giving rides to tourists. He has a noticeable sway back, likely genetic, but is in pretty good health for his age. He came with road shoes on, we pulled those and have transitioned him to barefoot.

He is a big boy, sweet and gentle and loves attention from people and other horses.

*Sadly Spirit passed away 4-1-2020 from a short hospitalization for Enteritis*
